i live in wellington, new zealand with my two beautiful and inspiring young daughters, and love nothing more than preparing and sharing food and conversations with friends. we live simply - our home is small, on a 70 square metre section in the cbd. 

 

in 2018 i embarked on an adventure to live a slower, calmer life; and as a result of living more simply found the time and space to create. this is how plain and simple was born.

 

the inspiration for plain and simple, and for adopting a low waste lifestyle, comes from my croatian heritage. one of my most cherished childhood memories is of my baba washing out plastic shopping bags and hanging them on the clothesline to dry, then folding them into neat triangles, ready for the next week's grocery shop.
